The Youth Leadership Project
The Youth Social Entrepreneurship Program, which will increase the knowledge, skills and resources of 5 400 youth people who are leaders or participants in youth-led programs'.
With generous support of King Gustaf V 90th Anniversary Foundation (Stiftelsen Konung Gustaf V:s 90-еrsfond) , BCYF is working on building capacities, skills and attitudes of Balkan’s youth leaders since 2002. Initial project “Good Leadership in Democratic Organizations”, for the period 2002-2003 ended up with leadership seminar in June 2003 in Ulcinj, Montenegro with trainers form Swedish Youth Council.
With guidance of Mr. Lennart Elbe, Secretary General and Board of Directors of King Gustaf V 90th Anniversary Foundation, in the following period BCYF has focused on leadership development in Macedonia by using expertise of peer Swedish NGO’s This very successful project enters into its fourth year of existence, showing long lasting impact on the youth leaders involved and their organizations.

IT Summer School for Macedonia
Balkan Children and Youth Foundation in cooperation with SEMOS Education Centre and supported by King Gustaf V 90th Anniversary Foundation is awardint 120 scholarships for IT education of young people in Semos Education Centre – Skopje.
This call is opened for young people from Macedonia which are:
The scholarships will be focused in the fields of Graphic design, Web design and System Administration. The project implementation period is July-August 2009 and BCYF is ready to provide full scholarships for education in:
In the selection process for approving an application, recommendations from youth leadership organizations or active involvement in an NGO dealing with IT, will be considered as additional criteria. The education process will be performed by professional trainers from Semos Education Centre – Skopje, a licensed training partner for Microsoft and Adobe.
The aim of the action is to support local youth organizations by giving them the opportunity for train their staff and improve labor market access opportunities for unemployed young people into IT education.

Together for European Macedonia
Project “Together for European Macedonia” supported by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of the Kingdom of Norway with the assistance of the Secretariat for European affairs of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia offers non-formal education programmes in the following areas: computer courses and courses of English language.
