With the support from Stiftung Schüler Helfen Leben and in cooperation with City Municipality Novi Beograd, BCYF is launching Youth Employability Programme in Serbia. is planning to support various trainings and youth business plans creation during 2009 in Serbia. Open calls for young people and companies/institutions interested to participate in this programme will be announced before the end of the year.

Municipality of Novi Beograd - partner of the project

First Fair of Local Government in Serbia

BCYF partner in Serbia, The Municipality of Novi Beograd has organized the first Fair of Local Government in Serbia, Novi Beograd starting from 3rd till 5th of November. A three-day event brought together more than 70 cities, municipalities and organizations from Serbia and the region.
This event was ideal momentum for meeting the needs of municipalities on one place, together with business and NGO sector. It was a great opportunity for exhibitors of the fair to present their potential, exchange experiences and knowledge with a range of investors and donors.
BCYF as a serious actor in the youth field in Serbia, made direct communication with less developed municipalities and received valuable information regarding the functioning of local government, more particularly local economic development of the youth.  From this event, very important information from first hand was gained. BCYF will use these outcomes of the meetings to better coordinate its activities in Serbia. Moreover, we encourage municipalities to approach to us with any economic problem concerning the youth, such as unemployment.
