The Youth Employability Program
The new phase of “Youth Employability Project for European Macedonia” has started under the auspices of Clinton Global Initiative www.clintonclobalinitiative.org initiated by Mr. Vlado Dimovski, PhD, Full Professor at Economic Faculty in Ljubljana and BCYF and supported by large corporate donor Mr.Sandi Cesko President and CEO of Studio Moderna – www.studio-moderna.com.
Project’s objective is to equip 3 300 young people with employability skills to expand their options for gainful employment and likelihoods. In addition aims to encourage collaboration among business people, government and educators throughout Macedonia and region.
The project will focus on enhancing possibilities of employment for 2,000 young people age 18-30 in Macedonia. This goal will be achieved mainly through the activities in the field of recognition of non-formal education (with engagement of relevant governmental bodies, business sector, NGOs and academic institutions), employability programs implemented in cooperation with grass-roots youth NGOs, job shadowing/internship implemented in cooperation with business sector and cross-border exchanges.

Youth Employability Grants
Selection Committees for grant awards were organized in December 2008 in Skopje. Out of 24 applications for the projects in Macedonia 4 were awarded grants in this round:
